Born Joel Ruiz and a.k.a by the name of “Loco” was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1992. Both his parents were born in Brooklyn, New York also. He has only one sibling, an older brother, Anthony. His parents moved to Staten Island, New York where he grew up. In 2005, his parents decided to buy a house in the beautiful Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania where he now resides.

Attended Middle School and High School. While in High School, He joined the basketball team Basketball has always been a favorite sport for joel since he learned  to play basketball at a young age. Now, he will be graduating from High School in June. My parents gave me a nice ride as my graduation gift.

Since the age of 9, his cousin Joey Lee Cruz aka “Scarr Boy” and him started rapping. This was his passion he quotes "Rapping, Writing Music, Freestyling  and creating his own Beats. He  records music on a daily basis. He work hard on his music and take it seriously. he has performed in several places as well as for the School he attends performing in a group called “Block Stars”. loco the don also has his own studio in his room where he concentrates on working with his music.

He is currently working on his mix tape and releases songs on Facebook to get the audience's feedback. He is very dedicated and will do anything to make his dreams a reality. “Death is Promised, but Life Isn't.” he says he lives and will die by this quote. In closing, he want to thank his mother and father for supporting him yungstarz music group for the love shown and god for guiding him in the right direction.

Mic Dizz was born Michael A. Mattis on january 14th, 1987 in Bedstuy, Brookllyn, N.Y. at the mere age of five, Michael began his rap career as Mike D. He began to simply free-style with his step-father, Joseph Branch, who was a DJ in his younger years . Dizz was always around other artists and at video_shoots with his step-father which influenced his interest in rapping. During a birthday party for a younger cousin, Dizz stepped to the microphone and began free- styling by his own decision. He surprised his stepfather, who the recognize the raw talent and potential that he had. His first show was with Brooklyn Blizzards Youth Organization, when he was just thirteen years old. Impressed by his talent and stage presence, the organization kept calling him back for more performance. Around the age of 16 he began performing at the Apollo on wednesday nights. and made it to the top dog finalist of the year in 2003.

Mic Dizz then started to do shows for Rose Records for a while , and eventually his interest in the music died down. As a young man at this point, he was distracted by the gang lifestyle most of his peers were leading. As punishment, he wasn't allowed do any shows .Within the last two years, however, Mic Dizz began to refocus on his music. His first mixtape Drugs For Ya Eardrums came out in the summer of 2008. In 2009, he released Blacc Timz and Hoodyz. Last summer 2010, All the Way Dry and Adventures of Microphone Dizz.Mic Dizz is an artists who is serious about his   music. Whenever he has a performance, he can be trusted to shut it down.

He even has a song with his mother who goes by the name of  La Bruja (The Witch) in English.
